Halo--trace on yellow paper; cut out.
Head--trace on
white paper; cut out.
After cutting
out both pieces, overlap head and halo as shown and glue. Add facial features
with paint, glitter glue, markers, or colored pencil. When the face is dry,
you may also brush the exposed portion of the halo with a thin layer
of glue and sprinkle with sugar or salt to add a sparkle.
This is the
main body of the angel. Cut it out of white paper. Decorate with paint, glitter
glue, markers, colored pencils, etc.
Glue head and
halo to the top of the body. Head and halo should overlap body by 1/4 inch
or so, with head/halo combination being on top of the body. You may punch
a hole near the top of the halo and thread a string through so that you can
hang your angel on a Christmas tree. Allow angel to dry before attaching
wings.
Cut wings out
of yellow paper. Spread with thin layer of glue, then sprinkle
with glitter, sugar, or salt if desired. After wings have dried, fold
them back about half way on the two lines shown. Spread glue on the flat
gray center section. Stick to back of angel.
